IN CANADA, A PRISONER HAS BEEN 'HELPED TO DIE'; ALLEGED NEWS. [1] CBC News
reports that to date, three inmates of Canadian prisons have been
approved for 'medical assistance in dying (MAID)', and that the first
documented case of a federal inmate receiving MAID occurred recently,
with two correctional officers helping to escort the inmate to the hospital
where the procedure took place; Alleged News. [1]
LETTER The cases emerged in a letter from Correctional Investigator Ivan Zinger to acting Correctional Service Canada Commissioner Anne Kelly, in which he urged for more 'compassionate' parole options, and a ban on medically assisted death within the prisons; Alleged News. [1]
Mr Zinger reportedly said that the new guidelines which were brought in on November 29th 2017, allow the prison system to act as a 'facilitator or enabler' of death, breaching the system's legal and ethical obligations:Alleged News. [1] He further condemned the policy, arguing that terminally ill inmates should be given conditional release on 'humanitarian and compassionate' grounds; Alleged News. [1]
INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights [ICCPR] clearly states in Article 6.1 that, "Every human being has the inherent right to life. This right shall be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his life." [2] This international human rights document thus protects the right to life of prisoners.
THOU SHALL NOT KILL
God had given the sacred command to protect the lives of prisoners, "Thou shall not kill." [Exodus 20:13] Those in authority carry grave responsibility when supervising the care of others. God has warned there will be consequences to deeds not in accordance with His Holy Laws [the Ten Commandments]. All will be called to account for deeds of commission and omission at the Last Judgement. LAST JUDGEMENT Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD, has explained: whatsoever we do to the least of our brothers and sisters, we do unto Him. He clearly states that treatment of prisoners is one of the tenets on which He bases the judgement:

THE EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR LAW AND JUSTICE IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE INCREASING VIOLATION OF CHILDREN'S RIGHTS, EVEN BEFORE BIRTH: ALLEGED NEWS. An oral statement was delivered on the 6th March 2018 in the Human Rights Council; Alleged News. [1] The Statement is as follows:
"The ECLJ is concerned about the increasing violation of children's rights, even before their birth. The most serious discriminations today do not concern only "race" or "sex", but rather "age" and are directed at children. Like racism and sexism, this discrimination lowers children to the rank of objects subject to the power of others.
Children, before birth, have been deprived of their rights. They are no longer a "human person" but considered a "thing". Like slaves, they can be killed, sold and bought.
They are also deprived of their identity and filiation when countries impose the secrecy of the origin of children conceived by anonymous artificial procreation.
This new injustice is further aggravated when children are conceived for the benefit of single people or same-sex couples because they are deprived of a father or mother.
And that is not all, because children are also becoming the main victims of eugenics.
Our society selects them, kills them, sells them, deprives them of their identity and their parents!
The fact that these acts are committed before birth does not make them more legitimate, on the contrary, because they target the most vulnerable beings.
Ms. Buchiccio, children have become victims of adult selfishness, the interests of the industry and eugenics.
In the face of this triple trap, your mission is great, and we are delighted that you refuse any "right to the child". But it is not by tolerating commercial surrogacy, as you recommend, nor by making abortion a right, as envisaged by the Human Rights Committee, that the fate of children will be improved. On the contrary!
The ECLJ wishes to remind this Council that the defence of "children's rights" starts with the denial of any alleged "right on children's lives".
