Be an Angel of Mercy this Christmas

Squatter Camp Puppy - dearly loved!

Puppies mistreated.
Animals burned to death.
Pregnant animals executed.
Animals left to shiver in the icy cold.

The way we treat our most vulnerable in our society is a sure indicator of who we are.
Let's be angels of Mercy this Christmas.
A sensible way to prevent animal illness, frailty and death is to keep them warm in the cold weather.
Jesus Christ said 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.'
It is convenient to believe that only human beings have the right to this humane commandment.
And yet the Lord of All was born in a stable, the first witnesses to the wonder of His Birth being the humble species which share our world with us - the animals.
Why did God choose these first witnesses besides Joseph and Mary?
Surely to show us the way to appreciate these wonders of our creation.

Let us help the vulnerable and helpless with the gift of shelter.
Peta provides sturdy, strawfilled doghouses each year and delivers them to dogs in need.
