BREAKING NEWS: DUBLIN TRAFFIC BROUGHT TO A STANDSTILL BY RALLY FOR LIFE

Bernadette Smyth and Niamh Ui Briain

BREAKING NEWS: DUBLIN TRAFFIC WAS BROUGHT TO A STANDSTILL AS A CROWD OF
30 000 PEOPLE FLOODED INTO THE CAPITAL TO STAND FOR THE SANCTITY OF LIFE.
It is becoming ever more clear that the people of Ireland are standing firm for sanctity of unborn life, and they are not going away.
At 2pm Dublin time on Saturday 4th July 2015, the Rally started wending through the streets of Dublin.
The streets were packed with people who braved the sweltering heat to make their way to Dail Eirann and to make their voice heard that the people of Ireland will never accept abortion.

Bernadette Smyth - Vindicated
Luminous Bernadette Smyth took to the podium among wave after wave of cheers.
Bernadette of Precious Life has been found innocent of all charges which had been brought against her, and is back doing what she does best - saving babies' lives.

Beacon of shining light
Niamh Ui Bhriain spoke to the crowds who came from all over the land and beyond to encourage all in the ongoing struggle to overturn the abortion bill in Ireland.
Crowds of supporters were on hand to cheer the Irish on.
Ireland has become a beacon of shining light for all those who value life.
We are not alone in our love for our children, both born and unborn.

Petition
A petition regarding Amnesty International was circulated among the crowds and enthusiastically signed.
A link to the online petition, 'Dear Amnesty International, stop pushing abortion on Ireland and El Salvador' is available: why not sign?

Evil of abortion
Quotes from the speakers and member of the crowd resonated through the capital and people chanted slogans supporting the right to life of the unborn child;
"I don't think Ireland has changed so much that we cannot understand the evil that is abortion."
"We do not have financial backing; we have something much more than that. We have unwavering support [from God].
We have our belief and trust in God."
"The abortion bill is 'not working' - babies have died because of it.'
"The pro-life promise to the people of Ireland was broken."
"We are taking our pro-life message to Dail Eirann."
"We are a sovereign people, and we will protect all our children, born or unborn."
"Every respectful nation should protect and cherish everyone equally."
"We are facing the worldwide abortion industry, The battle to destroy our precious children must be stopped."
"Our sufferings are nothing compared to the suffering of children in the womb; hounded, torn limb from limb."
"The abortion industry deals with money."
"Women and children die every day from the abortion procedure; why is this fact not highlighted?"
"God is with us. He goes before us. He goes before us to fight our battles."
"The most basic and fundamental human right is the right to life."
"The biggest war today is the war being waged against the unborn."
"This is a spiritual battle between light and darkness. It is a battle raging all over Ireland, and it is a battle we are destined to win. With God we cannot fail."
"We are history makers; we are world changers."
"Let the message of life and liberty ring out."
Supporters of the sanctity of life were urged to make their votes count for pro-life.
"Unless they serve all of us, they will serve none of us."
"This is the single most important issue that must determine your vote."
"Abortion is darkness and death."
"We will cherish life, we will protect life."

People of Ireland
The people of Ireland walked through the packed streets, many carrying - and praying - their rosaries.
Posters with Our Lady of Guadalupe were carried by prayerful participants.
Children with balloons and prolife messages walked with their parents.
Posters carried messages that abortion is not the answer; life is!
Why not help with the Prolife movement in Ireland?
We are not going away and the people of Ireland will never accept the abortion bill.
