THE VATICAN HAS INVITED DR PAUL EHRLICH, AUTHOR OF THE 1968 BOOK 'THE POPULATION BOMB' TO PRESENT A PAPER AT AN UPCOMING VATICAN-RUN CONFERENCE; ALLEGED NEWS.
Dr Paul Ehrlich, well known for his population control views, is scheduled to speak in Vatican City during the February 27-March 1 conference that will discuss 'how to save the natural world.'
The Stanford biologist champions sex-selective abortion as well as mass forced sterilization as legitimate methods to curb population growth; Alleged News. [1]
Defence of Forced Abortion
In his 1968 book, Ehrlich went so far as to defend forced abortion, writing: "Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society,' Alleged News. [1]
Biological Extinction
Titled Biological Extinction, the February 2017 Conference will address what Vatican organizers call an unsustainable 'imbalance' between the world's population and what the earth is capable of producing.
The event is jointly sponsored by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, Alleged News. [1]
Organizers of the Vatican-run conference predict that if steps are not undertaken in order to reverse man-made 'global climate change', then up to 40 percent of 'all biodiversity on earth' will be destroyed 'by the end of this century,' including a 'majority' of species of plants; Alleged News. Event Brochure
The event brochure put out by the Vatican states, '[T]here is no possibility of improving our situation without the widespread adoption of social justice, both as a matter of morality and a matter of survival,' Alleged News.
The Population Bomb
In his book 'The Population Bomb' Ehrlich forecast 'an utter breakdown in the capacity of the planet to support humanity' that would result in starvation for hundreds of millions; Alleged News.
These predictions have proved false, while his theories have been debunked; Alleged News. [1]
The biologist predicted in 1968 that half of Americans would die by 1990, and India and China would die out; Alleged News.

Ehrlich mentioned sex-selection abortion as a potentially effective means for conserving the world's resources by reducing population, a position he continues to defend; Alleged News. [1]
Ehrlich also defended the principle behind mass forced sterilization, a concept mentioned in a 1977 book he co-authored entitled Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment. suggesting that mass sterilization working together with sex-selection technology would be particularly effective for population control interests; Alleged News. Experts' dismay
Catholic experts have expressed dismay at the invitation extended to Dr Paul Ehrlich; Alleged News.
'The fact that Paul Ehrlich is advertised as a speaker at the Vatican's 'Biological Extinction' conference is scandalous,' Maria Madise, manager of Voice of Family, told LifeSiteNews; Alleged News.
'Through its choice of speakers, the Pontifical Academies running the event are giving an unmistakable message of sympathy for the radical environmental agenda, despite its going hand in hand with abortion, birth control, and a total lack of compassion for the real poor in today's world, the unborn children,' she said: Alleged News. Reggie Littlejohn
Reggie Littlejohn, founder and president of Women's Rights Without Frontiers, [3] was named as one of the top ten people of 2013 by Inside the Vatican magazine, and was presented with the Cardinal John J. O'Connor Pro-Life award, Alleged News. [4]
President Littlejohn said, 'I am perplexed that the Vatican would invite someone to speak whose theories have been discredited and whose dire predictions have utterly failed to materialize, who says that women should not be allowed to have as many children as they want, and who equates babies with garbage', she told LifeSiteNews; Alleged News. Pope Francis
Ehlich told reporters in 2015 that Pope Francis' exclusion of population control in the environmental encyclical Laudato Si was 'raving nonsense' and that the Pope was 'dead wrong'; Alleged News. [2]
