RENUA SUPPORTS THE RIGHT TO LIFE OF THE PREBORN CITIZEN

IRELAND; RENUA DECLARED ITSELF TO BE A 'PRO-LIFE PARTY'  EARLIER THIS YEAR, AND HAS DROPPED ITS POLICY OF AFFORDING A FREE VOTE TO ITS ELECTED OFFICIALS ON 'MATTERS OF CONSCIENCE', ALLEGED NEWS. [1]

Renua Representatives at Rally for Life
Renua representatives were out in force at the Dublin Rally for Life on 1st July 2017, to support the protection of the Eighth Amendment.

8th Amendment protects rights of unborn child
A policy document published by the party declares Renua 'believes that the Eighth Amendment is a secular human rights issue as it protects the human rights of the unborn child', Alleged News. [1]

Renua relaunch
Renua has relaunched the party's core principles and dropped its policy of allowing elected party members a free vote on the issue of abortion, Alleged News. [2]

The policy document is made up of six pillars, and reportedly clearly sets out that party candidates who want to run in the next general election and any TDs elected to the next Dail must firmly adhere to the party's policy on abortion, Alleged News. [2]
