VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE OFTEN FORCED TO WORK AS SLAVES IN HOME OR FOREIGN COUNTRIES. Some accept attractive job offers in big cities or abroad without knowing these offers are false. Many are forced into prostitution or labour with little or no pay to make money for their traffickers. They may be violently abused and made to repay large sums of money to their traffickers. Passports may be taken away. Escape is impossible.
