Media; pencil, fine pen, fibre tip pens, watercolour

For years Lumiere Charity has been running distance courses and sponsoring art lessons for children in outlying areas, children in need and for the disadvantaged. We are deeply proud to show a painting recently done by one of the children Lumiere Charity assists.

In the spirit of Lumiere, why not consider one of the following?
- If you are an Art Teacher, teach a disadvantaged student for free
- If you are an Art Teacher, consider giving classes in a slum/ squatter camp/ refugee camp/ disadvantaged area
- Buy Teach-Yourself-Art books, box them and post them to eg Orphanages/ Schools in need/ Squatter Camps
- Buy Tutor DVD's in how to learn watercolour/ or oil pastels/ or oils/ or pencil drawing/ or pen and ink/ or any of the other myriad and creative forms of art.
Send them to an Orphanage/ Shelter/ Squatter camp or place you feel would be of assistance
- Sponsor a disadvantaged art student through College or University

"A picture is a poem without words" - Horace

When the above picture was given to me by the child, she clasped both my hands in hers afterwards and looked at me.
And in her eyes and her silence and with the clasp of her hands, I heard her message without words; Thank you to all Lumiere Charity Benefactors who made it possible for me to develop this talent.
